Located in Norfolk County, Fenway/Kenmore is one of 23 designated neighborhoods in Boston, MA.

This exciting area gained its fame from its biggest attraction, Fenway Park, the home ball park of the Boston Red Sox. Outside of baseball, the Fenway area also includes many colleges and universities, world-renowned medical research centers and hospitals, lively nightlife along Lansdowne Street, and the highest concentration of cultural institutions in the city from the Museum of Fine Arts and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to Symphony Hall.

“East Fenway” includes the famous ballpark, House of Blues, Jillian’s Lucky Strike, Loretta’s Last Call and Cask’n Flagon, plus other bars, restaurants, and shops in the Kenmore Square commercial stretch near Boston University.

Fenway Park – Since 1912, it has been the home of the Boston Red Sox Baseball team. It is the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. Because of its age and constrained location in Boston’s dense Fenway/Kenmore neighborhood, the park has been renovated or expanded many times, resulting in quirky features that include “The Triangle”, “Pesky’s Pole”, and the Green Monster.

• The Boston Citgo Sign -It is a large, double-faced sign featuring the logo of the oil company Citgo that overlooks Kenmore Square. The sign was first built in 1940 and replaced with Citgo’s present logo in 1965. The sign has become a landmark of Boston through its appearance in the background of Boston Red Sox games at Fenway Park.

The museum houses an art collection of world importance, including significant examples of European, Asian, and American art from paintings and sculpture to tapestries and decorative arts.
• Symphony Hall – Symphony Hall is a concert hall located at 301 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Designed by McKim, Mead and White, it was built in 1900 for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which continues to make the hall its home.
• Jordan Hall – An acoustically superb, 1,019-seat concert hall and the main performance venue for the New England Conservatory.
• Christian Science Mother Church – The Mother Church is located near the heart of Boston on the beautiful Christian Science Plaza. The Plaza hosts a variety of public events such as organ concerts and talks on Christian Science, and is home to The Mary Baker Eddy Library and its world-famous Mapparium.
